After a long (18 hours!) day of travel yesterday, we are settled into our Airbnb apartment in Helsingor, Denmark. It’s colder here than in Vancouver and so windy, but beautiful. It’s a smaller town and doesn’t seem to have many tourists this time of year, but I think would be very busy in the summer. We are right by the beach, and about a 15 min walk from the town square and shopping/restaurants.
I checked the weather a lot before this vacation so I knew it was going to be chilly. Good thing! I am so glad I packed my leather jacket and this turtleneck. And of course my new sneakers, which I wore yesterday on the plane(s) and will probably wear almost everyday for walking around. Layering is the key to staying warm and still looking good! This dress is long sleeve and knit as well so it’s a good base.
