I like to keep it simple in the summertime, often choosing to just throw on a dress and call it a day. This dress is the same a-line cut I keep turning to this season. I like how breezy the loose shape is for summer and I feel like I can wear a shorter skirt (and lets face it most skirts are short on 5’10) without it being over the top. This cut is extremely forgiving and I couldn’t love it more. Give it a go if you haven’t tried on something a-line before!

I don’t have any problems wearing black in the summer, as long as it is a lighter material and in a seasonal cut like this dress. I love how the neck is high but the shoulders and armpits are more open. There are even pockets! A simple necklace, sunnies, bright coral polish and my favourite wedges in tan complete the easy summer vibes.
