Another hot day in Vancouver and another breezy baby doll dress to twirl away the day in. I have been putting this look together a lot and it’s only the first week of June! I am not usually one to wear navy, but this dress with a 70’s inspired print caught my eye. It’s lightweight so even with sleeves I can still get away with it in the sun. The short length is nicely balanced out buy the fact that the rest of the dress is conservative and not form fitting in the slightest.

I wore this dress out for dinner the other night as well, and sat on a patio in Kits right on the beach for a few hours. I was very thankful for the sleeves once the sun went down! The whole evening we were watching the beach, mountains and sunset and I was thinking about how lucky I am to call such a beautiful place home. I love summer.
