Let me start by saying I usually hate rompers. Probably something to do with being tall, but they never, ever fit. Most have an elastic/cinched waist that just keeps pulling the shorts up, and does a horrible job of looking flattering.

This romper has none of that! It’s basically just a loose tank with shorts attached. It also has a lovely low back which I adore. Normally wouldn’t be too jazzed about showing off this much of my bra, but Aritzia really does it right keeping it simple with their bralettes so I don’t mind. You can also change the straps to racer back with one clip, another reason I wear this bra (or the same in nude) most days.

Kept it all neutral with black heels and a bag that matched the romper. Wearing all over print is enough excitement for one night!

In Toronto now at the work conference but these photos were from Saturday night in Vancouver.

    • Thank you! I love the way rompers look on other people but I never wear the ones I own (other than this one) because of what I mentioned in the post. They just don’t sit right!
Glad you have a few good ones to romp around in this summer.

      • I can agree with you on that note … a lot of them don’t sit right at all and I find that some even make you look a few sizes bigger but I think simply for the comfort and cute appeal; they are my go-to summer wardrobe piece.

  1. I literally have the same problem! I love rompers, (mostly on other people) because most times I’m too tall and they end up looking extra short and just not cute! But this loose fitting romper looks really great on you, so I think I’ll give it a try too 😉
