Nothing makes an outfit feel more official than a good blazer! Even something casual like this denim skirt and sneaker combo gets a little polish when paired with a more formal jacket. I’ve been seeing these button front skirts everywhere and am glad I picked this one up a few months ago. That’s 70’s vibe strikes again! 

Blazers are also good for summer evenings when you can start feeling a chill in the air. Not too heavy but a nice bit of structure. I know I’ve already been focused on fall, but I still love a good head to toe light look for this season. Seriously cannot believe it’s already the second week of August…

In a previous post I spoke about a new MAC lipstick I had bought that turned my natural lip colour up a notch. Sorry to report that it ended up being super drying because of the matte texture. I ended up getting a different product from them so all good. Fortunately for me, the wonderful ladies at Sephora showed me how great this lipstick (in Barbara) from Nars is and I have a new “my lips but better” shade to work with. Wearing it in this post and like everyday all the time lately. Anyone else have a good go-to nude shade? The Nars one is a bit of a splurge but I love the colour and texture.
