Some of my favourite looks are totally devoid of colour like this one. Grey and black are just so easy to pull together and if you do it right with unexpected textures or details you can sill stand out without any bold hues.

These grey boots are probably the best example of that. I usually stick with black but this season fell in love with the warm grey and soft feel of these on my feet. A lot of people would hesitate to go with an all grey boot over black, but I have been finding it just as versatile and wearing them everyday.

The belt is another key piece to add interest in the look. I normally don’t wear belts or jewellery, but for some reason (probably because of one of the girls in HAIM I saw rocking a similar one at Coachella a few years ago) I was inspired to buy this one and actually wear it. It also reminds me of a belt my mom had when I was kid, which I eventually stole and then lost…It’s a little bit flashy without being costume-y.

Happy Friday everyone!
