Sometimes the weather forces me to make a few outfit compromises. With the main one in winter being wearing tights. I generally prefer bare legs and hate the constant possibility of tearing my panty hose, and the annoying way it bunches or cuts in at the waist. Regardless of these setbacks, there comes a time each year when I dig to the bottom of my sock drawer for black tights. aesthetically, I actually like the way they look in certain outfits. They can make short skirts more wearable, hide imperfections, make boots (like these grey ones) stand out and of course keep you warmer. I guess it isn’t all bad…

Tights are one of the things I spend as little money on as possible. I find a $30 pair will get a hole just as quick as a $6 pair, so cheap and cheerful it is! Some of my longest lasting have been from Forever 21 or H&M for under $10 actually.
