Linen is such a summer material. It’s lightweight and gives that casual cool vibe since it’s impossible to keep wrinkle free! As much as I love fabrics that keep their shape so I don’t have to iron, linen is one of the few materials that’s better when you make peace with the crease.
To keep it chic and not sloppy, I’d stick with one piece in linen mixed with other items that are smoother. You want the texture to look intentional, not like you just rolled out of bed in it. This sweater is thin and flowy which gives a good contrast to the rougher shorts.
Nothing says beach like an all light, neutral pallet of tan, grey and some huge sunglasses! These shorts will be a great staple this summer, though I do wish I was still under the lovely California sun and not in rainy Vancouver right now.
