From March – May the weather can be unpredictable, ranging from sunshine to frost and everything in between. In Vancouver, we’ve already seen sunny highs of 15 degrees, frigid mornings and days upon days of non-stop rain this month. All that back and forth can be hard to deal with, let alone when trying to do so fashionably. I try to stay stylish and comfortable by building outfits around 3 season staples like these soft leather leggings.
You will need to wear a warm sweater or jacket much of the time yet, and something like this soft cashmere v-neck is a perfect thin layer that still packs a punch. Since a grey sweater and these leggings are a typical fall/winter outfit for me already, I wanted to brighten things up a little with the white button up and flats. Tying up the front and rolling up the sleeves are an easy way to make a basic look more interesting. Layering with bright white is a good way to dress for the season without freezing your butt off.
I haven’t owned a pair of flats in years (since high school!) but I’d been admiring these ones at work and decided to see what I was missing out on. I like how minimalist and clean theses ones are and am loving the spring vibe they’ve been giving all my outfits.
