leather + stripes

My favorite outfits are usually devoid of color, simple and comprised of new items mixed with classics from seasons past . This one hits all those marks, and worked great even with the slight spring chill in the air.

It should come as no surprise that I love wearing leather – these leggings have been a staple for years and this jacket literally goes with everything. I really wanted to wear these wedges but it wasn’t exactly the warmest day so both these pieces kept me from being too cold. Can’t beat that they still feel fresh so many outfits later either!

I just received this flowing striped top. You guys know I’m a bit of a stripe hoarder, and this one is made from extra soft bamboo viscose. It’s the absolute perfect length to wear with leggings, and I like the contrast between the flowing white chiffon trim and all that leather. It’s one of my top picks from the spring collection of LNBF – a Canadian brand focused on making clothing with sustainable fabrics and timeless cuts that help make fashion less detrimental to the planet. That’s something I’ve always struggled with being into clothes, so look out for a few other features from their line coming up on the blog soon.

The other new edition is these sandals. I can already tell I’m going to be wearing them all spring and summer. Working in a shoe store is dangerous people! They are majorly comfortable, which is one of the reasons I’ll take a wedge over a stiletto any day.

If you’re in Toronto you can check out LNBF at the Eco Shop Collective Pop Up – the opening party is tonight and there are a bunch of other great environmentally focused brands featured as well!

Leather Jacket: Similar $ from Zara, $$ from Aritzia, Leggings: Aritzia, Top: c/o LNBF, Shoes: Ecco
