Leather pants are one of those surprise staples you never know you need until you try. I wear them 10x more than I wear regular leggings, because they are just as easy but make me feel hot instead of lazy. They are best with cozy sweaters, but can be dressed up for work with a longer crisp white button down, or styled for a night out with a crop. My OG pair (from Aritzia when I was 19 and working there P/T) finally died on me and it was time for a replacement.
I prefer the Aritzia faux leather to that of other mid-range brands I’ve tried, because it’s soft on the inside and doesn’t feel so much like wearing garbage bags on your legs. My one complaint was that the leggings I had before fell down throughout the day, but that has been solved with the button/fly closer on this pant-like version. The other benefit of this is that I don’t feel so naked wearing them with shorter or tucked shirts.
Originally I ordered a pair online that were heavily reduced, but since I work in the mall now I found these beauties browsing on my lunch break. I ended up spending a bit more, but the nice thing about replacing a favourite in your wardrobe is knowing already it will be worth the investment when you break down cost-per-wear.
It seems like we will only be getting a little sample of summer in Vancouver, so never too early to start planning for your fall wardrobe!

You look great in these! (not everyone can pull them off as good ❤ )
and, yes, knitwear pairing is essential x
Thanks Chloe!! Glad you liked the post. They’re one of my faves and I think most people can find a way to style them that works!
You make it look so easy to wear leather 😍 Love the look!
